Art is simply a song to the absolute, a hymn of praise, gratitude and celebration, an outpouring of love.
I live in beautiful Gloucester, Massachusetts, where there’s endless inspiration for hymns of praise and gratitude, and outpourings of love. In my artwork I hope to improve my technique so I can come closer to representing whatever it was that moved me to draw or paint it. But most important is the love that moved me, that I hope to pass on to you. As nonduality teacher Rupert Spira says:
“The role of the artist is to transmit to humanity the deepest experience of reality. Art is remembrance. It is love. It is like a sword that distinguishes between appearances and reality.”
